Golden Treasure Metal Detectors was founded by Al Amory in 1982. After 25 years of serving the community, he handed over the reigns to Albert and Nathalie Anderson in May 2005. Albert had picked up the hobby from his father 15 years prior to owning "GTMD" (Golden Treasure Metal Detectors) and primarily uses a Troy X5, White's MXT, and of course still has his old Garret Master Hunter detectors. Nathalie on the other hand started detecting a few years ago and enjoys underwater treasure hunting. She primarily uses a Fisher CZ-20, DetectorPro, and for quick and easy land use, a White's Prizm IV, Troy X5, or Minelab X-Terra 50.

And what's more is that we have recovery or lost item location services available. We often offer this service to large companies but do get requests from people who have lost a treasured belonging. Of course either way, this is kept in the strictest of confidence.
For those who prefer to locate a lost item of their own, no problem, we offer daily or weekly rentals...a great time to try one out too!
